LEVELS OF AUTOMATION

MANUAL POURING

The system is controlled manually by an operator and is built with the possibility to upgrade to a semi- or full automatic pouring system.

Semi-automatic pouring

Teach-In mode: The pouring will be recorded on basis of manual pouring. The next molds are poured by repeating function.

Automatic pouring

The operator is released from the basic setup - only adjustments are needed. This level offers a wide range of functional tools.

Intelligent pouring

The system is enhanced by artificial intelligence. It controls and optimizes the pouring cycle by itself and communicates with the mold line. For the process itself, the operator is not needed anymore.

EASYpour™ is a digital operator supported by artificial intelligence. It is based on self-learning algorithms which monitor the current state of the pourTECH™ system together with historical data from the pourTECH™ database. EASYpour™ controls the pouring parameters to continuously optimize the pouring and trying to maintain a high and consistent result of the pouring.

The inoTECH™ in stream inoculation detection system gives the operator the full control over the inoculation process. By using it, the innovation detects the actual hit rate of the inoculation material into the iron stream with the aim to reduce the amount of inoculation material and the inoculation defects.

in-stream inoculation

For the casting quality the in-stream inoculation is a significant requirement. Our units are known for high Uptime, easy to calibrate and the possibility to operate with double feeder system with different inoculants. The dosing unit also provides automatic error checking, using a variety of sensors.

in-stream Temperature measurement

The pyrometer measures temperature in the pouring stream and displays the temperature of each single mold. This pyrometer has a special pouring stream mode to calculate one average temperature value for each single pour.

With FORCEpour™, your system gains a function for pre-opening of the stopper rod. The feature can provide cycle time savings from 0.5 to 1 seconds (depending on the mold line) equaling production increases of up to 15%.

The mold mapping function provides monitoring of all molds currently existing along the mold line, from mold machine to shake out. Each mold is linked with information such as pouring pattern number, pouring result, pouring time, final level and iron batch. Additional information from external machines/devices can also be linked, if available.
