The market leader for flexible and fully automated pouring solutions was able to gain the trust of a well-known German foundry, Luitpoldhütte GmbH.
The inquiries and the demands for automatic pouring are increasing. To ensure high-qualitative casting results, Luitpoldhütte GmbH decided to upgrade their furnace from Inductotherm Deutschland GmbH to a fully automated system. The lasers, cameras, inoculation unit, software and the HMI will be mounted on an Inductotherm furnace. The system will be capable of controlling the pouring process fully automatic and accomplishing perfect pouring results. Mounted on an existing flask line, the system is designed to pour grey iron. The installation is planned for summer 2024.
